Frequently Asked Questions

In your consultation I go over your desired hair inspiration and thoroughly check your natural density, length and texture which determines the amount of hair recommended, along with the custom sizing of bonds and estimated wear time. This in turn allows confirmation if your hair goal will be attainable or if it needs to be shifted to another look. I also review hair history and health matters, i.e., medications, anesthesia, postpartum, cancer treatment/recovery, and surgeries that may affect hair loss. Next, your custom color palette is selected along with the planning for any custom or pre-blended strands. Finally, your reservation deposit is completed to hold your day of service.

Most guests request volume or fuller and longer hair, however, there are circumstances where extensions can be especially helpful. They can aid the grow out process of short haircuts or chemical damage, or be utilized to add chemical-free color. No, improper installations or poor home care may cause damage.

The consultation determines the method based on lifestyle and maintenance goals.

With keratin bonds there is no maintenance. Home care, especially brushing, is top priority to ensuring a healthy wear. Based on the density and length, sets can be worn anywhere from 2-6 months. When the wear time is up, a removal visit is scheduled. Just like your installation, they are also removed one at a time. It is imperative a professional performs this service. The hair cannot be reused—either a new set is then installed or they are just removed. Any color or cutting services will be performed later.

As long as your natural density is supporting the strand attached, with no tangles or matting they can be worn on average 4-6 months and then replaced. If you naturally have less density the wear time is shorter.
